The seasons are Fall, Spring, Summer, and Winter. These seasons all do different things. Fall in the Decidious forest is when the leaves fall off the trees and it starts becoming cold, also non-growable. In the spring the trees and the flowers are starting to bloom it's the first sign of forest floor life. In summer bees are buzzing and the air is full of pollen. In the winter it is sometimes blistering cold! Weather:The weather up here can sometimes be strange. In the summer it can be down to like 70 degress at night! But in the spring it's weird too because it sometimes feels like summer because it is sometimes 80 degrees and in the fall it evens feels like spring because it is almost 51 degrees.
Location:Locations where the Deciduous forest is located in is in theUnited States, Europe, New Zealand, and Southeastern Australia etc. These locations have all different animals and plants. It also has different soil. But the soil here maybe richer than others. The many types of Decidious forests are all based on where the location is! Like where we live...Connecticut!!!! Animals:The Tawny owl is only out at nightbecause it is nocturnal.The American Black bear is 90 to 300 lbs. The red fox is sneaky when it comes to hunting and stealing.The raccoon is a little furry animal that has a nasty bite if it has rabies. Plants:The plants here are giving us oxygen! It helps us breath. But some plants are poisonous! So that's why we have to be careful about what we eat and touch. Such as some mushrooms, poison ivy, etc. The American Black bear: The Black bear has a birth rate of 1 to 2 cubs during january and early febuary. They weigh up to 90 to 561 lbs. During hibernation the bear has to eat more than it's body weight because if it doesn't it will wake up during the time of their important hibernation. Their running speed is up to 30 mph( miles per hour). Their smelling ability is extremely excellent! It is 100 times greater than humans!! Their speed is important because it helps them run after prey. It prefers to eat nuts, acorns, fruits, insects, and succulent greens. It's hearing is far greater than a persons hearing. It has perfect vision compared to the peregrine falcon. It is a good swimmer, not great but good enough to keep itself afloat.People are harming the bear's ability to hunt for itself and that is putting it on the virge of getting shot because people feed it and it goes from house to house begging for food.
